Colombia earthquake kills over 100 people
A strong earthquake hit western Colombia on Monday. The earthquake had a magnitude of 7.4. More than 100 people died. Many buildings fell down in cities like Cali and Pereira. Rescue teams are looking for people under the rubble. The president of Colombia declared a national emergency. He said that helping people is the most important thing. The earthquake was deep and was felt in other countries like Ecuador and Panama. The US and the EU offered support.
